Concept for a BBC 'super-app' that combines the BBC's services across multiple platforms into a single portal. Developments in smartphone technology have spurred the growth of these apps, particularly in China with the success of WeChat and Alipay that bundle several products into one. A single access point aims to enhance consumer interaction and provide seamless access across iPlayer, Sounds, Sport etc to connect the user with a range of experiences they may otherwise miss across separate platforms. The app uses passive learning as well as time and location data to curate and suggest relevant content, both new and from the BBC archives. Prototype developed in Adobe XD.
